Explore the Hunter Wine Tours

Gareth & Lauren are the husband & wife team behind Explore the Hunter. ETH is not just about showcasing the region's great wines. They are locals and get excited about unique and interesting experiences. Having previously been co-owners of Hunter Valley Private Tours, a wine tour brand who has been doing classic lux wine touring in the Hunter for over 20 years, they decided we wanted to offer more and launched ETH. Each offering has been tailor created to offer flexibility. YES, come and taste stunning small batch wines but, for those guests who might not be into wine, they can still enjoy a great day out. ETH offers Brewery tours, Distillery tours, Sparking Only tours, Non-Alcoholic tasting experiences like our Foodie Tours, or Chocoholics Tour. They also offer niche experiences including Vegan Tours, Pet Friendly tours, as well as Sydney to Hunter Valley Day experiences. Gareth & Lauren are always on the lookout for new and interesting things to do in the region and have added helicopter flights, Go-Karting, Aqua Golf, Oyster Shucking (in a river!), Indigenous Smoking Ceremonies and Classic Campfire experiences to the list of out of the box things you can do on a day tour with Explore the Hunter.
